Probable starting pitchers: Tigers RHP Drew Hutchison (2-8, 4.24 ERA) vs. White Sox RHP Michael Kopech (5-9, 3.54 ERA).

Game notes: The White Sox and Tigers end the season series next weekend with three games in Chicago.

Hutchison is making his fourth appearance (two starts, one relief appearance) of the season vs. the Pale Hose. He allowed two runs and five hits over six innings in a July start. A month earlier, the White Sox, again, scored two runs on five hits, but only needed four innings to do so.

Last time out, Kopech earned a win allowing two runs over five innings vs. the Colorado Rockies. He dominated the Tigers last month, now allowing a hit through six innings before being pulled after 11 strikeouts and 85 pitches.

Next up, the Tigers play the Baltimore Orioles on the road starting Monday. The White Sox host the Cleveland Guardians
