Houston slugger Yordan Alvarez is having himself a massive night against Oakland in the form of three home runs in three at-bats … in just five innings so far at Minute Maid Park. The dingers are his 34th, 35th and 36th of the season.

He passed Angels superstars Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout on the AL home run leaderboard with the trio of homers, all of which were off of A’s righty Adrian Martinez. The third knock went a whopping 464 feet and put the Astros up 4-0.
